Why is dissection an important part of a biology curriculum? Which animals and/or plants should be included in biological studies?

The biology curriculum is designed to continue student investigations and deepen student understanding of the biological sciences.  In-depth study of the following concepts is included: the cell, the molecular basis of heredity, biological evolution, the interdependence of organisms, matter, energy and organization in living systems, and the adaptive responses of organisms. In biology the plants are animals that we need to learn about is and endangered species and the plants that show the students the different processes of biology.

There are different forms of community interaction which is competition, commensalism, mutualism, predation, and parasitism. This type of interaction is called mutualism this means that both species benefit from interaction. Another type of interaction is called commenalism is one species benefits and the one is unaffected. Competition is when each species is affected negatively. And both predation and parasitism is when one species benefits and the other has a disadvantage.

The country projects are really confusing me because i do not know exact what to do and how to do it . I have read the directions on how to do the project but the directions are confusing me. I don't understand exactly how to use moodle and how to put pictures on the project its hard. I am not good with computers they really confuse me so when i have to do project i try the best i can to understand exactly what to do. And what i am going to do is first try it one more time then go and ask my teacher for help.

Compare and Contrast two biomes

A Desert biome is usally very hot during the day and chilly during the night. The biome has 10 inches of rain per year and it precipitation is mostly rainy. This biome is located around the equtaor and it covers1/5 of the earths surface. The plants that live in this biome usally store water and the animals get water from unusuall places. The plants and animals that live there adapt to extreme weather conditions. Some animals avoid heat because they are nocturnal and they also avoid heat by staying underground.

                                                                                                                                                                        A tundra biome is soil frozen most of the year and has 10 inches of rain per year. This part of land covers 1/5 of the earths surface and it is farest north. Some plants grow close together so they can protect themselves from the cold. The trees that grow on this land are very small . The plants and animals that grow and live here have to adapt to the extreme weather conditions. Because of the weather conditions there is a very short summer when the plants get to grow. The animals are able to adapt to the cold and the plants are small and grow close to the ground. The water is not avaiable most of the year.

There are different levels of the food pyramid and all of thems are use to show a cycle. The most important level of the food pyramid in the food pyramid is the lowest level grass. Grass is the most imporatnt level of the food chain grass is also called producers. The producers provide food for the consumers, they get the engery to produce by soil, sunlight and water. Without the producers the animals wouldn't survive as a consumers. Int th pyramid as a food chain, Grass in the most important level in the food pryamid.
